New Beginnings

By Lydia Royce

New Beginnings

I felt I was done,

But You knew You had just begun.

I thought I was lost,

But You came,

You sought me out.

I felt I had sunk,

You held on,

And pulled me out.

It seemed like

The horizon kept moving

And the clouds kept passing

The wait grew longer….

But You were there

Sowing

Planting

Weeding

And

Watering

The dreams

The plans

The adventure.

You let me rest,

You let me weep

Sleep

Cry

Laugh

And play.

You brought back Life

Life

                Life

                                New Life

                                                New beginnings

With the Alpha – the one who makes all things new.
