The Invisibles

By Lydia Royce

The Invisibles

I didn’t see them,
The Invisibles.
The ones in the wheelchair,
The ones unwell,
The weak,
And the lame.
I didn’t see them,
The Invisibles.
As I walked past them
Strong and able,
Well and healthy.
I didn’t see them
Until I was
With them;
Then I saw
And
My world
Was complete.
