Step Out

By Lydia Royce

Step Out

The call1

To step out,

To leave,

To walk away,

To turn back,

To experience a different life,

Comes

With a cost,

Deep pain,

Rough hardship,

But

It is a call

Worth

Any cost,

Any pain,

Any hardship.

So

Wrestle your questions,

Worry your anxieties,

Tremble your fears,

With your hand in His hand,

And

Your head

On

His chest.

Slowly

Yet surely,

His joy

Will be yours,

When

He

Steps out

 with you

And

You

With Him.

1 Mathew 16:24 And Jesus said, ‘…come, follow me.’
